After 11 years together, Adam and I have learned that sex, desire, intimacy, and connection don’t stay the same and maybe they’re not supposed to.
In this very personal episode, we talk about how our sexual connection has evolved throughout our marriage, what we believed about sex when we first got together, what we wish someone had told us, and how we navigate the moments when one person wants intimacy and the other doesn’t.
We also talk about what we’ve been going through over the last couple of weeks: grief, supporting your partner through difficult moments, and learning how to hold space for someone you love without immediately trying to fix what they’re feeling.
We share some of the tools we actually use in our marriage to move through grief, communicate, reconnect, and find our way back to each other.
This one is about sex but it’s also about what happens when you spend 11 years growing, changing, hurting, healing, and continuing to choose each other.
