She begins speaking about her experience of getting pregnant at 17 years old and even though she was young in age she was very well supported by her family.Alia had a bit of awareness about hospital birthing but she didn’t have the understanding of what it meant to advocate for herself throughout her birth process.A few years later, after spending time on “the Farm”, Alia found a passion for Doula work and began her career supporting women in birth.
