After the shooting and killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, the search for his killer may have come to an end. Police in Altoona, Pennsylvania, arrested 26-year-old Luigi Mangione, who was found with the gun believed to be used in Thompson’s murder. Former FBI agent Nicole Parker joins to recount the manhunt for this murder suspect, the concerning trend of empathy online for the alleged killer, and what justice likely awaits Mangione if convicted. TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, has until January 19th, 2025, to divest from TikTok to sell to a US owner or face a country-wide ban. This comes from national security experts, and lawmakers fear China's access to Americans' data. : U.S. lawmakers and residents from from New Jersey are both frustrated over dozens of reports of drones being flown over homes and sensitive sights like a military research facility. The sightings of very large drones, larger than the size of a hobbyist drone, have been going on for several weeks. Authorities, including military officials, say these drones do not represent a danger but other officials are calling on federal agencies to immediately help address and investigate the situation. Daniel Penny has been found ‘not guilty’ of criminally negligent homicide against Jordan Neely, after the courts dismissed the charge of manslaughter. The verdict reached on Monday puts to rest the criminal case against former Marine Daniel Penny, who now will face a civil suit for his actions in subduing Neely on a New York City subway last year. Syrian rebels, over the weekend, seized the capital Damascus and forced President Bashar al-Assad to flee to Russia. It ends thirteen years of civil war and more than fifty years of the al-Assad family's brutal reign. The lightening military advance by rebels was led by a former al-Qaeda affiliate which has caused a huge change in the region and has lessened the influence of Iran and Russia. FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Alex Hogan, FOX news foreign correspondent reporting from Tel Aviv, who says the rebels now face a monumental task in governing the country while Israel has taken action in the Golan Heights in order to secure the border with Syria.
