October is here.
And that means one of our favorite annual traditions has officially returned:
The That Would Be Rad October Spooktacular.
To kick off spooky season, we’re exploring some of the most haunted castles in the world: places filled with centuries of war, betrayal, tragedy, curses, ghost sightings, underground passages, and dark history.
In this episode, we visit:
Dalhousie Castle in Scotland, where the Grey Lady is said to still wander the halls…
Predjama Castle, built directly into a cliff and tied to a legendary siege and betrayal…
Voergaard Castle in Denmark, home to stories of a ghostly noblewoman, a mysterious bloodstain, and a centuries-old curse…
The Castle of Good Hope in South Africa, where bells reportedly ring on their own and a phantom black dog stalks the grounds…
Charleville Castle in Ireland, with one of the saddest ghost stories on the list…
Kellie’s Castle in Malaysia, an unfinished mansion filled with secret tunnels, strange apparitions, and the lingering presence of a dream that was never completed…
And finally, Edinburgh Castle — towering over one of the most haunted cities in the world, with stories of phantom bagpipes, a headless drummer, ghostly prisoners, and centuries of violent history.
Along the way, we ask the questions that really matter:
Would you actually spend the night in one of these places?
What’s worse — seeing a ghost, hearing one, or knowing something is standing behind you?
And at what point does “historic charm” become a terrible vacation decision?
Some of these stories are tragic.
Some are creepy.
And some are exactly the kind of old-world haunted lore that makes October feel like October.

Somehow.
And for the final installment of The Ultimate Conspiracy Theory Ranking (at least for now) we’re closing this series with celebrity deaths, mind control, secret societies, hidden power structures, frozen legends, and one of the strangest Michael Jackson theories we’ve ever talked about.

One last trip down the rabbit trail.

This time, we start with one of the most persistent theories in music history:
Did Courtney Love have something to do with Kurt Cobain’s death?
And because this is That Would Be Rad, that conversation somehow sends us sideways into MKULTRA, government mind-control experiments, pop culture, and even the Mickey Mouse Club of the 1990s.
From there, things only get bigger.
Do a small group of elites actually control more of the world than we realize?
Is the Illuminati a real organization—or has the legend become something entirely different from whatever may have existed in the first place?
Was Walt Disney really cryogenically frozen?
And then there’s Michael Jackson.
Because according to one theory…
he never actually died.
Could the King of Pop still be alive, hiding in plain sight, living under another identity—or is this exactly the kind of theory that proves we’ve finally gone too far?

This time, we’re digging into some of the biggest historical mysteries, internet-era conspiracies, ancient legends, and one Titanic theory Woody had somehow never heard before… but immediately had to admit might actually make a disturbing amount of sense.
Did Hitler really die where history says he did?
What exactly happened to QAnon?
Could dragons have actually existed in some form… and what does that mean for the way we think about dinosaurs?
Was the Titanic disaster exactly what we’ve always been told?
Did Shakespeare really write everything attributed to him?
And then, naturally, we end up back at CERN.
Because apparently we can’t stay away.
This time, the question is whether CERN could somehow be connected to what we now call the Mandela Effect.
That leads us straight into alternate timelines, collective memory, reality shifts, history, and the deeply uncomfortable possibility that some of the things we “remember wrong” might not feel wrong at all.
