- What happens when a psychic medium goes on vacation? Apparently, a whole lot of intuitive experiences, unexpected connections, a palm reading and a ghost tour.
I'm taking you along on my recent trip to Victoria, British Columbia, where I had a series of experiences that reminded me just how much can happen when you follow your intuition and allow things to unfold naturally.
From repeatedly running into the same couple throughout my trip, to spontaneously meeting a woman for coffee and discovering that we had surprisingly similar lives, there were so many little moments that made me stop and wonder, what are the odds?
I also share the story of getting my very first palm reading! I'm usually quite selective about who I allow into my energy, but something about this experience felt like I was supposed to be there. The palm reader had some interesting things to say about my intuition, psychic abilities, career, and even my love life. One piece of advice in particular really stuck with me, and it wasn't necessarily what I was expecting to hear!
And of course, what would a trip to Victoria be without a ghost tour? I share an interesting experience involving three mysterious figures in a window and the question of whether we were actually seeing what we thought we were seeing.
Between the unexpected connections, intuitive nudges, whale watching, and a few spooky moments, this trip was another reminder of what can happen when you pay attention to the little things happening around you and trust your intuition.
Pay attention. It's rarely random.

At the time, I had never had a psychic reading, didn't own crystals or oracle cards, had never experienced a Reiki session, and knew absolutely nothing about the spiritual world. Little did I know that signing up for that one course would completely change the direction of my life.
In this episode, I take you through the seven months that followed, when my intuition started turning on and things began happening that I couldn't explain. From practicing Reiki on anyone who would let me, to suddenly knowing names and information, to a dream about a man in a brown hat and checkered shirt that eventually led to a photograph in a shoebox. I share how these experiences started small and gradually grew into something much bigger.
I also talk about how Reiki Level Two and a crystal healing course played a big role in my development, and how all these little experiences eventually led me to realize that I had seemingly become a medium overnight.
If you are currently experiencing your own spiritual awakening, questioning your intuition, or feeling like nobody around you understands what you are going through, this episode is for you. Remember that everyone's journey looks different, there is no timeline you need to follow, and you are not behind!
Pay attention. It's rarely random.

This episode was inspired by a mentee who had five great practice sessions, then one that felt like a complete disaster. How can you have five successful sessions and then suddenly one where nothing works?
Many factors influence a spiritual reading, and not all depend on the medium. I'm breaking down five common reasons your practice sessions might not go as planned, including the sitter's energy, their expectations, whether they truly want to receive a message, and the pressure they might unknowingly put on you.
We also cover why practice sessions differ significantly from professional readings, and why it's important to prepare your sitter beforehand. When someone agrees to sit for a practice reading, they're there to help you learn, not to test you! I share recommendations for explaining things to your sitter, like how to provide helpful feedback, why taking notes matters, and how to create a comfortable environment.
I also share an example from John Edward about what happens when a sitter focuses so much on one specific loved one that they miss information from someone else. Finally, we discuss something often overlooked in developing your gifts: being a sitter isn't always easy. Sometimes information comes in pieces, and the sitter has to connect them. As developing intuitives, we want to simplify this process for them.
If you're developing your mediumship abilities and have ever wondered what went wrong after a practice session, this episode is for you. One challenging experience doesn't cancel out all your amazing work, and learning to navigate these situations is an important part of your development. It’s rarely random.

I’m sharing a story about a client who came in for a session and casually mentioned that she had a weird cough. She apologized for it, but the cough wasn’t even the reason she had booked the session. It was just something she had been living with for so long that it had become normal.
During the session, I became curious about it. I asked her when the cough started, and she didn’t know. I asked her how long she had been dealing with it, and again, she wasn’t really sure. Eventually, she said that maybe it had been around for 30 years.
So, of course, my next question was, “What happened 30 years ago?”
Nothing.
I asked again. What happened 30 years ago?
She got married.
Immediately, I felt like there was something about the cough that was connected to her husband and that relationship. As we continued talking, I learned that they had actually divorced six years earlier, but they were still connected because they owned a business together.
Two months later, she came back for another session. She walked through the door and said, “I’m ready to deal with my cough.”
This time, she was ready to look at what was underneath it, and we were able to explore what the cough represented for her and what her body had been trying to bring to her attention.
This episode is about the alarm bells our bodies can send us and how easy it can be to normalize something when we have been living with it for a long time. We can notice something, ignore it, push it aside, or simply decide that it is part of our normal life. Sometimes we can do that for years, even for 30 years.
Your body can keep trying to get your attention, but that does not necessarily mean you are ready to listen. There can be a big difference between noticing that something is there and actually being ready to explore it.
Sometimes the sign isn’t new. Sometimes it has been there all along, waiting for you to become curious enough, or ready enough, to listen.
Your intuition called. You should probably answer.
So pay attention. It’s rarely random.

One of the best ways I can explain detachment in mediumship is to think of yourself like a mail carrier. Your job is to deliver the mail. You don’t need to know what is inside the envelope, why someone is receiving it, what they are going to do with it, or whether it makes sense to them right away. You just have to deliver it.
Mediumship can be the same way.
We can get so caught up in wanting to be right, wanting confirmation, or trying to figure out where every single piece of information fits that we accidentally get in our own way. Sometimes the information makes sense immediately, sometimes the confirmation comes days, weeks, or months later, and sometimes you may never get the confirmation at all.
In this episode, I’m sharing a few stories that are perfect examples of this, including readings where the names Anna and Troy didn’t make sense at the time, but the clients were able to connect the dots long afterward.
I also share a story about a reading where I was getting information about job changes and an unexpected business opportunity. At the time, it didn’t necessarily fit, but later, those exact circumstances started unfolding in the client’s life. And then there are the walnuts.
Sometimes Spirit gives us information that feels completely random, and our job is still to say it. A recurring image of walnuts eventually connected back to a property a couple was considering, but there was no way for me to understand that connection when I originally received the information.
This is why I always encourage you to keep notes on the pieces that don’t make sense yet. Write them down. Come back to them later. You might eventually get the confirmation you were looking for, or you might not.
The goal is to become comfortable with both.
The more you can detach from needing to understand the information, needing to be right, or needing someone to immediately validate what you received, the easier it becomes to simply trust what comes through and deliver the message.
You are the mail carrier. Deliver the mail.
Spirit can sneak in when you least expect it, so pay attention. It’s rarely random.
