In this episode of the HPR podcast, host Dr. Sarah Bennett welcomes Dr. Fer Estévez-López, a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University and assistant professor at University of Almeria and Dr. Rafael Prieto-Moreno, occupational therapist and postdoctoral researcher at University of Almeria.We dive into the EULAR points to consider for patient education in physical activity and self-management of pain during transitional care with Fer, the convenor of this EULAR task force and Rafael, one of the fellows. In this episode, we explore their journey to enter the field of rheumatology, the rationale as well as the aims and methods for conducting this work. These experts discuss the key findings of this work, which aims to improve the quality of transitional care and increase the quality of life of young people with juvenile-onset rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (jRMDs).
