Weaponised BDSM, deception and the illusion of consent

    29/12/2025 | 1 h 14 min
Hello and welcome to Diary of a Private Investigator, I’m your host Nathan Hoole of Dolos Investigations and this week I’m joined by Jacqeline.

Jacqeline joins me on this episode to tell her story about what started as a wonderful relationship which gradually turned into one of the most horrific ordeals of her life.

After meeting online, the red flags began to appear but her partner’s deception and manipulation went undetected, as usually is the case with situations like this.

We discuss intricate details of the relationship, from BDSM to damning lies about his family and private life, Jacqeline has endured a lot but has come out the other side as she starts to rebuild her life and rediscover her confidence.

We also discuss the impact the private investigation had on this case as Jacqeline is actually a client of mine, I helped her throughout the investigation to finally get her the answers she deserved.
