French label Skryptöm is moving a step forward with a new release.

A hallway is somewhere you pass through. Not the room you have left, not the room you are heading for — just the stretch in between, where the sound from both sides bleeds together and nothing has quite resolved.

Truant.J has built a career in that kind of space. The Victoria-based artist works between the dance floor and the esoteric, and Dancing In The Hallway is the clearest statement of that yet: eight tracks of techno made as much from texture and atmosphere as from drums, functional enough for the floor and strange enough to stay with you afterwards. The record marks his return to Skryptöm after the collaborative album with Moteka — this time alone.

It is a natural fit. Nearly twenty years in, Antoine Husson’s label has never had much interest in the obvious, and has built its catalogue on artists who treat techno as a language rather than a formula.

The Detroit-based Infolines label drops its eighth compilation, featuring label boss Echoføn, Rex Sepulveda, and Infolines label bosses ADMN & Dev-Lish (Ian Desmond), arriving 8th September 2026. First up, Echoføn is the Detroit-based production duo and Blank Code co-founders Chad Parraghi and Corbin Davis. The mix of techno, drum & bass, and complex polyrhythms has long been shaping their native underground while picking up high-profile support from the likes of Polygonia and Kangding Ray. They open with the slow, dark, mid-tempo moodiness of 'Liedernacht', which has dubby drums and unsettling atmospherics.

Next is Infolines founder, music engineer, TV Lounge resident alumni, and Lincoln Factory resident ADMN, aka Alexander Drazin, who explores the darker recesses of techno on labels like Planet E, Rekids, and Refuge. Here he works with Detek Music co-owner and 20-year veteran Dev-Lish (Ian Desmond), who has a renowned live show and explores a wide range of techno soundscapes. Their 'Physical Education' suspends you amid crunchy percussion and bleeping synth modulations that are unsettling yet inviting as the physical groove stomps through a lonely landscape.

Rex Sepulveda is another Motor City mainstay and founding member of D Records, whose sound fuses the city's unmistakable techno heritage with influences from across the globe. Active since the mid-1990s, he's released and remixed for Development, D Records, Plus 8 and Flumo, amongst others. His 'Hanzatud' is a warped, elastic deep techno rhythm, imbued with abstract textures and wonky pads that evoke freaky dancing and alien imagery.

Finally, ADMN goes solo for 'Carrier Sense', which dials up the pressure with glitchy synth patches and prying pads over thudding, swinging kicks. It's a fantastic tension builder with a muscular presence and futuristic outlook.

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @marinageorgedj for the 146th installment of Amplify Series.

Born in Greece with Italian and Austrian roots, DJ and producer Marina George has quickly become known for her ability to create a unique, captivating atmosphere. Her sets are a masterclass in building energy, weaving techno with experimental soundscapes and genres including breaks, ambient, and electro.

Influenced early on by the emotional depth of trip hop, she brings a cinematic and textured aesthetic to her hypnotic, driving sets, forging a deep and sensual connection with her audience.

Marina has already left her mark across major cities such as London, Athens, Ibiza and Amsterdam, sharing the stage with techno heavyweights like Ben Klock, Ø [Phase] and Dave Clarke. Now based in Berlin, she holds a residency at iconic techno institution Tresor
and served as a resident curator for "Tresor New Faces”.

Drawing inspiration from her passion for psychology, Marina often incorporates her own voice or thought-provoking samples into her music, offering a deeper narrative that explores themes of human emotion. Marina’s commitment to vulnerable storytelling is also evident in her productions, which have been released on prestigious labels such as Planet Rhythm, Kneaded Pains and Suara.

Fueled by a relentless dedication to her craft, Marina George is a force behind the decks and strives to inspire positive change within the techno community.

Electronic dance music and beyond.
Nuno Costa began his ventures into electronic music in 2008 with his Sinner moniker, and with it he created Warface, a local crew and promoter focused on dubstep, drum ’n’ bass, and UK garage.

In 2013 he kickstarted his new project, VIL, focusing mainly on techno. His debut EP came in early 2015, when Portuguese label Extended Records picked him up for a release. Soon after, he released on Lewis Fautzi’s “Faut Section” imprint, on the legendary Synewave New York, run by Damon Wild and Be as One records from Shlomi Aber.

VIL’s refined taste and set building ability has already earned him a place at some of the best clubs in the country, of which Lux Frágil and Gare are included, and is a regular presence at many of the country’s festivals as well. Fast forward to 2018, where alongside Portuguese artists Temudo and Menosdois, he creates Hayes, a collective focused on showcasing the distinct output of its artists through vinyl and digital releases. Already counting with several vinyl releases since its inception and garnering support by some of the biggest name in the scene, Hayes turns out to be one the most promising labels to rise during the pandemic.

Furthermore VIL used the extended time in the studio between 2020 and 2021 to place his output on renowned labels outside of his own realm. Landing highly anticipated EPs both on Ben Klock’s seminal label Klockworks, Stranger’s Self Reflektion to name a few.
