Pop 3:The Golden Bachelor is officially flopping — ratings for Mel Owens’ season have dropped to less than half of Gerry Turner’s, with producers reportedly “embarrassed” and blaming a miscast lead. Meanwhile, over in Netflix land, Love Is Blind success story Amber “AD” Smith and Ollie Sutherland tied the knot after meeting on Perfect Match season 3. And The Kardashians returned this week, with Kim finally opening up about Kanye, health scares, and major stress while Khloé carries the show and Kourtney… would rather be anywhere else.
Deep Dive: DWTS Drama
The Dancing with the Stars fandom is heated this week. Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas got in trouble by ABC for promoting an unauthorized giveaway to the Halloween show. Meanwhile, Maks Chmerkovskiy stirred the pot by saying pro dancer Jan “has no business being on DWTS.” Val came to his brother’s defense but also said Jan did better his first season than Val did in his own debut. Jan took the high road, saying, “Whoever is trying to stay relevant by spreading hate, that’s not the way.”
