It’s been reported Spurs’ players went home with rave reviews of the 46-year-old's first day of training, one at the session telling close friends that it was "outstanding" and numerous others bringing glowing reports back about the level of the work.

We also chat through the news that Inter Milan are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, with the Italian expected to leave Spurs this summer regardless of what happens to the club at the end of the season.

Sandro joins us as he believes a destiny has been fulfilled after seeing his old boss Roberto De Zerbi appointed as our new Head Coach.

The 37-year-old ex-midfielder revealed he hoped the Italian would one day take charge in Spurs after playing under his guidance at then-Serie A side Benevento in 2018, serving as his captain during that period.

With us as a player between 2010 and 2014 and now a regular matchday hospitality host at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sandro also cut his teeth as a coach under Roberto during the latter’s time at the helm of Brighton.

Sandro says he’s delighted to see one of his mentors take over at the club and believes the 46-year-old has the qualities needed to make a real impact on the squad and even revealed how a special invitation from Roberto once meant he was unable to celebrate a Spurs victory!

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Darren Hart, Ian Lubin and Billie T as the panel react to the news that Tottenham have confirmed the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi as their new head coach, with the Italian reported to have become the third-highest paid manager in the Premier League behind Arsenal's Mikel Arteta and Manchester City's Pep Guardiola on a five-year contract.

We discuss the suggestions that De Zerbi was overwhelmingly the club’s number one choice for the position, and the attraction to the Italian was based on his prior Premier League experience, his tactical acumen and the his reputation for playing attacking football. We also give our feeling to the news that De Zerbi does not have a relegation clause in his Tottenham contract and is understood to be fully committed to rebuilding Tottenham and views the position as long term project regardless of which division they are playing in.

We also address the divide the appointment has caused across the fan-base, due to De Zerbi's backing of Mason Greenwood at Marseille, and furthermore with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust having confirmed they oppose his appointment following member complaints, with certain fans threatening to boycott fixtures. Finally we close on whether having made the appointment now if this changes our mood in being able to retain our Premier League status.
