We had our Patrons vote on a selection of our most-requested dystopian and sci-fi books, and I Am Number Four (2010) by Pittacus Lore (allegedly...) won by a landslide. It's your typical fish-out-of-water story about the new boy in town trying his best to fit in and survive the semester with the help of the prettiest girl in school, an oddball best friend, and an unusually smart dog. But this teenager has a big secret...he's an alien. As it turns out, John wasn't the only one with something to hide.
