In 1892, Andrew and Abby Borden were brutally murdered with an axe inside their Massachusetts home — and suspicion quickly fell on Andrew’s daughter, Lizzie. But despite strange alibis, destroyed evidence, conflicting testimony, and a sensational trial, Lizzie walked free.

So... did she actually do it?

We break down Lizzie’s early life, what may have triggered the murders, the evidence found inside the house, the prosecution’s case, the jury’s controversial verdict, and the other suspects who may have had motive — including the bizarre “Wild Man” theory.
