- When a family decides to build rooms on the upper floor of their home, the last thing they expect to find is something that seems to live within the unfinished walls.
What began with the appearance of a strange child at a construction site soon turned into years of impossible experiences: voices in the dark, presences that seemed to know the names of the household members, and phenomena that left a lasting mark on the entire family.
In this account, we explore the story of a home haunted by apparitions, unsettling imitations, and paranormal events that persisted for years—even after those who experienced them tried to leave it all behind.
Can a presence learn to mimic people? What happens when something inside your home seems to be watching you for years? - The Roma neighborhood is one of Mexico City’s most famous spots. Thousands of people walk its streets every day, drawn by its architecture, parks, cafés, bars, and legends. But when night falls, some say Roma reveals a completely different side.
In this episode, we’ll hear about inexplicable encounters that took place on some of its best-known streets: apparitions that seem to have been recurring for years, impossible places that appear and vanish, and experiences that left those involved wondering if they were truly alone. Three stories set in one of Mexico City’s most iconic neighborhoods.
If you’re visiting for the soccer tournament, it’s a place you simply have to see. Turn off the lights, get comfortable, and join us for a new episode of *Relatos de la Noche*. - Three stories set on some of Latin America’s loneliest roads. A worker in Patagonia encounters travelers who seem to exist outside of time.
A father driving along a Guatemalan highway in the dead of night claims to have seen a strange woman gliding through the darkness.
And a young woman discovers that certain promises made in moments of fear can have unexpected consequences. Tonight, we travel along empty roads, through remote villages, and across routes where—when help finally arrives—it may not always come from this world. - In this episode of Tales of the Night, members of the military share some of the most unsettling experiences they had during their night shifts.
In the first story, a soldier stationed in the mountains of Mexico discovers why there's a guard post that no one wants to man. Deep in the forest, some sentries claim to have heard the laughter of a woman moving among the treetops… too high for anyone to be up there.
Next, we travel to Ecuador, where a recruit recalls a night shift at a barracks surrounded by a forest marked by soldier suicides and past executions. The instructors' warnings seemed exaggerated… until a voice in the darkness began calling him by his rank.
The third story takes place at that same barracks. During a foggy early morning, a soldier is relieved early by a comrade… or so he thinks. Hours later, he discovers that this comrade never left the dormitory.
And to close the episode, a story submitted by a community member from Tabasco. It all began with a strange encounter his grandfather had decades ago near a trail. Since then, something seems to have stayed with his family… something that still resurfaces today. Turn off the light, get comfortable… and let yourself be carried away by these new Tales of the Night. - "There are nights when something changes, even if we don't know exactly what.
Sometimes it begins with a noise, a presence, something that shouldn't be there… and other times, with something that seems to have been coming from much earlier, from places or people who are no longer here.
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we're going to hear stories that happened inside ordinary houses, on quiet streets, in places where no one would expect to find anything like this. Presences that manifest themselves for days, figures that shouldn't exist… and memories that perhaps don't belong to the person experiencing them.
Turn off the light, get comfortable… and let yourself be carried away."

The darkness of the most successful and acclaimed horror podcast across all categories in Latin America now in English.
Uriel Reyes was born in Tijuana, Baja California. As a child, he learned to comprehend the language of horror movies he found on American television, even though he didn't yet understand the language. He studied Communication at the Autonomous University of Baja California and later drew inspiration from the radio programs he listened to during insomnia-ridden early mornings, ghost stories, and a recording of Juan Rulfo reading a story from "El Llano en Llamas" to create "Relatos de la Noche" a podcast that has made him one of the most listened-to voices in the Spanish-speaking world.
