Recorded live at the storied Dirty Dog Jazz Café in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, the album captures a swinging, intimate partnership — forged through music and a deeply shared life on the bandstand, in the studio, and at home.For Matthew, it’s a long-awaited return to bandleading since his acclaimed 2001 debut Circles.
