Mary-X makes her debut on 1024 with Sincretismo, a five-track EP presented as an act of sonic
resistance.
Inspired by the concept of syncretism—where sacred messages survived by disguising
themselves under new forms during the colonial era—each track operates in the same way:
hypnotic layers that conceal something deeper, and rhythmic patterns that reach the body before
they reach the mind.
Designed for the dancefloor, Sincretismo features Alessandro on Monspelled and a beautiful
remix by Andrea Zapata, bringing together the work of three talented South American artists in a
mystical and hypnotic EP.

resistencia sonora.
Inspirado en el sincretismo —donde los mensajes sagrados lograron sobrevivir al ocultarse bajo
nuevas formas durante la colonización—, cada track funciona de la misma manera: capas
hipnóticas que esconden algo más profundo y patrones rítmicos que atraviesan primero el
cuerpo antes de llegar a la mente.
Pensado para la pista de baile, Sincretismo cuenta con la participación de Alessandro en
Monspelled y un hermoso remix de Andrea Zapata, reuniendo el trabajo de tres talentosos
artistas suramericanos en un EP místico e hipnótico.
