After Grand Jury REFUSES to Indict Protestors with Felonies, Trump's DOJ Brings Misdemeanor Charges
Fox News Host turned top prosecutor in DC, Jeanine Pirro, engaged in gross prosecutorial overreach by urging multiple grand juries to charge protestors with felonies when the facts plainly warranted only misdemeanor charges.Fortunately, the grand jurors, sitting as the conscious of the community, refused to indict the protestors of felony crimes. On January 6, 2021, Ashley Babbitt was a rioter and insurrectionist who was shot as she attempted to climb through a busted window of a barricaded door leading to the Speaker's Lobby as members of Congress were being evacuated from the US Capitol. While she was in the process of committing crimes by trying to breach the Capitol, she was shot and killed. Even though she was an Air Force veteran, Babbitt was rightfully denied military honors at her funeral . . . until now. The Air Force just reversed course (undoubtedly at the direction of Donald Trump), and will now give Babbitt full military honors.
