Megan Ruiz and Jimmy Ramirez had a rocky relationship, which eventually erupted in violence. We hear about these cases often, but the sentencing in this one is an outrage.On July 3rd, 2024, two gunshots rang out inside the Crosswinds Apartments in central Las Vegas. Metro Officers responded and were told a story about a woman in the middle of a “manic episode,” a woman who had supposedly attacked her boyfriend with a fork.
