Why do 75% of North Carolina Public Schools Have No Nurse On Duty?

Now, in North Carolina at least, approximately 75% of public schools are without a nurse on any given day. Yet nearly 100% of them have at least one full-time police officer. It seems the school nurse has been replaced by the school police officer.

Everything is fair game except people's personal lives. In fact, we're not interested even if someone committed crimes UNLESS they committed them as a representative of an organization.
