- Bianca Carrasco, a 29-year-old oncology nurse and mother of three, disappeared on May 1, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas. She was last seen by her husband, who said she walked out of the house after an argument. Bianca's phone went dark that night, and no one has heard from her since. Dateline's Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Bianca's sister, Jovanna Burney, her friend Julie Stinson, and a representative from Search and Support San Antonio, Lori Wittmeyer. Bianca is right-hand dominant, has a tattoo of the letter "B" on her left hip, and a surgical scar on her abdomen. At the time of her disappearance Bianca was 5’1, 125 lbs., with brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, multi-colored leggings, and wedge shoes. She is said to have been carrying a pink Prada purse, and a black Prada wallet. The 28-year-old was last seen on security video at a convenience store near a local laundromat. Months later, the GMC Jimmy she had been driving was found in Dayton, Ohio; her laundry was found folded inside the vehicle. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Niqui’s sister, Michelle McCown-Luster, and Niqui’s daughter, Payton Johnston, about their long search for answers. Josh also speaks with WDTN co-anchor Kelley King, who has followed Niqui’s case for years. Also featured is Richmond Police Department Detective Mike Wright, who continues to investigate Niqui’s disappearance.
Niqui was 5’3” and weighed 115 pounds at the time of her disappearance with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink top, biker shorts, and sandals. She would be 53 years old today. Her family has not heard from her since that night. According to the Austin Police Department, at the time of her disappearance Haleigh was an informant for the Texas Department of Public Safety. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Haleigh’s mother, Becky Mitchell, her sister, Harley Murphy, and her best friend, Brittney Ketchum. When last seen, Haleigh Murphy was 5’ and 130 lbs. She had short platinum blonde hair, hazel eyes, and many brightly-colored tattoos. She would be 26 years old today. The 19-year-old had spoken with her mother that morning, but when a co-worker stopped by the station shortly after that call, Cheryl was gone. Nearly half a century later, Cheryl’s disappearance remains unsolved, and tips continue to come in today. Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz speaks with Cheryl’s younger siblings, Anthony Scherer and Diane Scherer-Morris, along with Sheriff Derick Wheetley, Det. Sgt. Michael Williams, and Det. Carerra Patterson of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office about the case. At the time of her disappearance, Cheryl Scherer was 5’1”, weighed about 100 lbs., with blue eyes and shoulder-length red hair. The next day, she and her sister Kimberly Loring messaged each other on Facebook. That is the last time anyone in Ashley’s family has heard from her. Dateline's Josh Mankiewicz talks with Kimberly Loring, Montana Free Press reporter Nora Mabie, and Haley Omeasoo, Ashley’s high school classmate and founder of Ohkomi Forensics, about the crisis of missing Native Americans and the work being done to bring their cases to light. At the time of her disappearance Ashley was 5'2" and weighed about 90 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Ashley would be 29 years old today.
